OPPORTUNITY

Our team is looking to hire an Energy Advisor who will oversee the engagement and management of key client relationships to drive business value through the delivery of commodity and non-commodity energy solutions. The Energy Advisor is responsible for the retention of existing customers as well as supporting the sale of new business and aims to improve our clients’ profitability and business productivity by creating value through energy solutions, operating cost reduction and providing world class customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Retention and growth of a portfolio of customers by setting procurement objectives, developing reporting capabilities and benchmarks, maintaining strategy with customers by identifying changes in scope, analyzing energy consumption data; overseeing development of customer commodity and non-commodity procurement strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant products and tools to meet specific objectives
  • Supports wholesale supply and trading functions to provide market intelligence, wholesale and retail structured pricing, market execution and portfolio management
  • Application of risk management techniques to customer strategy including, but not limited to load forecasting, Value at Risk (VaR) analysis and options theory
  • Assists in the development and enhancement of digital solutions to enhance customer service delivery
  • Ensures the execution of world class levels of customer service resulting in customer retention and works directly with origination teams to support the acquisition of new business
  • Leads or participates in cross-functional projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Energy industry experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required in finance, engineering, economics, mathematics or related field, Master’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred
  • Effective and persuasive leadership style, excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of management
  • Proven management skills and ability to manage both internal and external relationships
  • Excellent quantitative, problem solving and negotiation skills; proficient with computer spreadsheet and database applications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including presentation proficiency and the ability to interact with senior management
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (US Only)
