Program Overview

The Consulting Development Program (CDP) at Pilot Energy is a structured, entry-level rotational program designed to develop the next generation of energy consulting leaders. Whether you're a recent graduate or have 1–2 years of professional experience, this is your opportunity to learn the business from the inside out—while making meaningful contributions from day one.

Over the course of your development journey, you’ll rotate through key functional areas including:

• Marketing – Learn how we position Pilot’s value in a competitive energy marketplace.
• Sales Operations – Understand the tools, systems, and data that power our business.
• Sales Support – Collaborate on proposals and pricing strategies for live client deals.
• Inside Sales – Develop outbound outreach and client engagement skills.

These rotations are designed to give you a 360-degree view of the energy consulting industry and set the foundation for your future role as a full-time Energy Consultant focused on origination, client relationship management, and client strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• Recent college graduates or professionals with 0–2 years of experience
• Strong interest in energy, sustainability, consulting, or sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, coachable, and self-starting attitude
• Ability to take ideas and run with it without strict processes
• Curiosity and drive to grow into a client facing leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree required
